Job Description Join our team as a Control Systems Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in designing and developing electrical devices and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, improve product performance, and support new product development projects. Responsibilities Include • Prepare detailed schematics and working engineering drawings of electrical devices and system • Design control system for the machine including panel layout, machine safety, specifying electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic components • Conduct electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with build and electrical teams and provide customer documentation • Travel to install site for install and runoffs with customer • Ability to work interact with customers and vendors • Work with R&D team on new product development projects including design, testing and technical support • Provide assembly team with technical support during assembly and managing Final Assembly Test • Work on continuous improvement activities to improve product performance, cost and standardization • Generate bills of materials from specifications and drawings • Work with cross-functional teams to solve problems and develop solutions for customers Must Have • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology • 6+ years experience with Allen Bradley and AutoCAD Electrical • PLC Programming in the Allen Bradley environment (RSLogix5, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, Studio 5000, CCW) • HMI Programming in the Allen Bradley environment (FTview) • Electrical schematic drafting in AutoCAD Electrical • Electrical circuit troubleshooting experience • Understanding of electrical design concepts and processes, components, circuits, and power distribution • Electrical schematic drafting and AutoCAD Electrical experience • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings • Customer relations/interpersonal communication skills Nice to Have • Packaging automation experience preferred • Field engineering experience • Proficient in Allen Bradley environment (RSLogix5, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, Studio 5000, CCW) • Experience in industrial machine controls • Working knowledge of NEC< NFPA-79 and UL-508 Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastlake, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $57.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
