Description • Deliver technical presentations on building science topics such as air barrier performance, thermal efficiency, hygrothermal behavior to large technical and professional audiences • Build and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, and construction contractors to identify project requirements and recommend IMETCO solutions • Review blueprints and specs to prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and submittals • Utilize building envelope modeling tools for thermal and hygrothermal simulations to support design decisions (EX: WUFI, THERM, HEAT3) • Provide guidance on code compliance, energy efficiency and sustainable design principles • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to project close, coordinating with technical support, operations, and management • Assist with specing products and installation recommendations • Prepare technical reports and market insights to support company strategy • Represent IMETCO at trade shows, conferences, and educational workshops • No cold calling, this is a sales support role building out technical presentations, discussing pre sale projects with internal and customers • Running reports and analysis for proposals • Building models for assemblies and running simulations and calculations • Consulting customers on building envelope sciences, codes, etc Skills Engineering, EIT, Facade systems, building codes, heat transfer, Air transfer, Moisture transfer, Air barrier, ASHRAE, ASTM, cad software, cad design Top Skills Details Engineering, EIT ,Facade systems, building codes ,heat transfer ,Air transfer, Moisture transfer ,Air barrier Additional Skills & Qualifications Air barrier or building science certifications Familiarity with building codes and standards (ASHRAE, ASTM) Knowledge of building envelope performance modeling software for simulations (WUFI, THERM, HEAT3 or similar) Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Peachtree Corners, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Full benefits/PTO package Travel/Gas reimbursement Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Peachtree Corners,GA.
