Full Description

Acquisition.com is on a mission to make real world business education available to everyone. At Acquisition.com, we don’t just hire for open roles—we hire for impact. If you’re exceptional at what you do and align with our core values: competitive greatness, sincere candor, and unimpeachable character, we want to know you. Role If you’re energized by variety, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to be the steady force behind key leaders, this Executive Assistant role could be your perfect fit. We’re seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Executive Assistant to support Ben Rodman (Managing Director, Investments & Strategy) and Neil Assur (Managing Director, Value Creation & Strategy). This role is dedicated to ensuring these executives can focus on high-level strategic priorities by managing their calendars, communications, projects, and personal support needs with precision and professionalism. Values alignment is non-negotiable. You’ll be working closely with senior leadership, so it’s essential that you embody the principles that guide how we work: Sincere Candor Unimpeachable Character Competitive Greatness Our executives are mission-driven, and the administrative team is here to ensure they can remain focused on strategy — while we keep everything else running smoothly. Responsibilities Executive Support Manage and optimize calendars for Ben and Neil, proactively planning 3+ months ahead. Coordinate with internal departments and the founder EA team to avoid conflicts and ensure executive time is protected. Book and manage personal appointments and logistics as needed. Prepare meeting agendas, briefing docs, and background materials. Monitor and triage communications (Slack, Asana, email), serving as a gatekeeper and first point of contact when appropriate. Ensure executives are fully briefed and informed before meetings or decisions. Attend internal meetings on behalf of executives; take and distribute actionable notes. Handle sensitive personal or business-related matters with discretion. Schedule and manage travel itineraries, lodging, and logistics. Occasionally travel for executive off-sites, events, or on-site support needs. Time & Task Management Use Asana (or equivalent) to prioritize and track cross-functional tasks. Flag risks or conflicts to timelines before they escalate. Independently manage and follow up on action items. Protect focus time and minimize unnecessary context-switching. Communication Draft, edit, and proofread written communication on behalf of executives. Represent executives with professionalism and cultural fluency. Respond promptly in Slack (within 5 minutes during business hours). Ensure clarity, tone, and alignment with company values. Project Management Coordinate strategic and operational projects across sales, customer success, and advisory practice. Track deliverables and follow-ups; maintain visibility into timelines and blockers. Own logistics for initiatives (off-sites, portfolio events, vendor coordination). Collaborate with the founder EA team on shared projects and process improvements. Operational Excellence Maintain confidentiality at all times. Be available during off-hours or weekends when needed (coverage rotates). Support quarterly planning, leadership sessions, and KPI tracking. Results Executive Productivity: Ben and Neil are focused, prepared, and efficient. Operational Smoothness: Calendars, tasks, and communications flow seamlessly. Strategic Execution: Projects move forward without friction or delays. Collaboration: Partner with departments to share context, align on processes, and coordinate company-wide priorities when needed. Requirements Experience & Skills 7-10 years supporting executive-level leaders. Background in fast-paced, high-growth companies or startups. Mastery of Google Workspace, Slack, Asana (or equivalent). Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Strong judgment, EQ, and attention to detail. Values & Work Style Proactive, resourceful, discreet, and trustworthy. Calm under pressure, adaptive to shifting needs. Independent yet collaborative. Mission-aligned and values-driven. Who This Role is NOT For Those who need hand-holding, constant direction, or a to-do list to take action. Anyone who gets rattled when priorities shift, timelines tighten, or things move fast. People who guard their evenings and weekends like sacred ground — this role flexes when the Co-Founder does. Individuals who aren’t comfortable working across both the personal and professional — this role requires integration, not separation. Those who struggle to read the room, adapt tone, or communicate with clarity under pressure. People who take direct feedback personally or need constant validation to stay motivated. Anyone who needs to be followed up with to ensure a task is complete. Those who prioritize “done” over “done right” — excellence isn’t optional here. People who hesitate to take initiative or wait for permission to lead. Anyone looking for a traditional Executive Assistant role — this is a high-intensity partnership, not back-office support. Location & Schedule Las Vegas, Nevada Hybrid Full-Time Compensation Base Salary $125,000 - 160,000 + Benefits Relocation Assistance We know that great talent comes from all over, so we're here to help you make the move. The right person for this role will appreciate each of these values, personally subscribe to them, and understand why each is critical to having a great business. Competitive Greatness Be at your best when your best is needed. Enjoyment of a hard challenge. Those who have the drive to constantly improve, the superior intellect and long term commitment to see incremental improvements become compounding returns. Sincere Candor Have the self awareness to accurately perceive and communicate hard truths that improve others and self, the courage to do so, and the humility to accept them, even when it hurts. Nothing great can be built without feedback: internally or externally. Unimpeachable Character Be the type of person with whom people are always proud to associate, personally and professionally. We look for true alignment of thoughts, words, and actions towards a goal worth pursuing.
