Description: The Merchandiser Specialist will play a key role in supporting sales and client initiatives through diligent data management and collaborative efforts. This individual will be responsible for tasks such as managing customer-related documentation, assisting with financial tools specific to clients, reconciling trade spending, flagging order and claims discrepancies, and ensuring accurate data submissions. A strong commitment to teamwork and a proactive approach to enhancing service capabilities are essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities to effectively support the merchandising and client teams. Qualifications: • Demonstrated eagerness to collaborate with diverse teams to improve and innovate merchandising strategies and offerings. • Proven ability in effective time management, clear communication, and efficient problem-solving. • High School diploma or equivalent; relevant industry certifications are a plus. • 3-5 years of prior experience in data entry or administrative support, preferably within a consumer goods or brokerage environment, or a recent college graduate with relevant internships. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email platforms is required. • Exceptional communication skills for both internal and external interactions. • Highly motivated, self-starting individual with a strong aptitude for resolving issues. • Adept at utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for various tasks. • Capable of representing Acosta Group in a professional and polished manner. • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to meet assigned deadlines consistently. • Excellent listening skills. Benefits: • Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the creation and management of customer forms through various portals, including Acosta Sprint, Acosta Relay, and Excel. • Assist with client financial tools, including the creation and maintenance of customer events as needed. • Perform trade spend reconciliation, addressing claims alerts, and ensuring fund balances align with client metrics. • Monitor order alerts to verify accurate pricing and promotions on customer orders. • Support data submissions for price changes, new item setups, and customer-facing information within relevant portals. • Contribute to additional job functions that support the overall promotional planning and execution process.
