Description: As a Lead Event Specialist (Part-Time) with Acosta Group’s Product Connections team, you serve as a vital bridge between brands and shoppers. This role goes beyond standard product sampling; you are the onsite expert responsible for orchestrating high-quality in-store experiences that drive sales. While your primary focus is engaging customers through professional demonstrations, you also step into a leadership capacity by overseeing event logistics and supporting your team whenever the supervisor is offsite. If you enjoy a fast-paced retail environment and have a passion for food and customer service, this position offers a unique blend of brand advocacy and field coordination. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. • Relevant experience in retail, brand advocacy, or food service (1–3 months). • Ability to navigate mobile apps and internal digital systems for reporting and photos. • Valid food safety certification or the ability to obtain a local food handlers permit. • Physical stamina to stand for the duration of a shift and lift up to 25 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 50 pounds). • Comfortable using small kitchen appliances, knives, and cleaning chemicals safely. • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus in certain markets. • Professional grooming and adherence to specific retailer dress codes. Benefits: • Competitive hourly pay with steady, part-time scheduling. • Opportunity to develop leadership and management skills within a global agency. • Exposure to leading consumer goods brands and modern retail marketing strategies. • Collaborative and inclusive company culture focused on career growth. • Reasonable accommodations provided for applicants with disabilities. • Access to employee resources and internal support through the Acosta Group network. Responsibilities: • Execute high-energy food and non-food demonstrations to drive consumer conversion. • Serve as the primary point of contact for store management and team members when the supervisor is unavailable. • Coordinate the setup, breakdown, and sanitation of event stations and equipment. • Mentor fellow event specialists by sharing product knowledge and best practices for customer engagement. • Maintain organized storage of event kits and supplies within the store’s backroom. • Prepare various food items including meats and produce using skillets, fryers, and microwaves while following strict safety protocols. • Document event success through high-quality digital photos and same-day online reporting. • Build professional relationships with store personnel to ensure smooth event execution and client satisfaction. • Assist with preparation for client field visits and address any audit-related corrections promptly.
