12+ years IT experience with 10+ years in architecture roles, expertise in Azure services and enterprise architecture frameworks, leadership skills, and relevant certifications.
Azure Enterprise Architect Remote role (PST Time Zone) Experience And Skills Experience: Minimum 12+ years of overall experience with 10+ years in IT architecture roles and at least 5 years in enterprise architecture leadership for large-scale organizations Technical Expertise Advanced knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure API Management, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Monitor), with familiarity in other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud). Expertise in enterprise integration technologies (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Apache Kafka) and API management platforms, with a focus on Azure API Management. Proven experience designing DevOps pipelines, IaC (Azure Bicep, Terraform), and observability tools. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate), with experience applying Azure Architecture Center principles. Familiarity with AI/ML tooling and data platforms (e.g., Azure Databricks, Snowflake) to support AI Enablement. Leadership And Strategic Skills Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong strategic planning and portfolio management skills to align IT with business goals Communication And Collaboration Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to collaborate with Professional Services, outsourcing partners, and global teams. Education Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master s degree or certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred. Preferred Skills Deep experience with Azure multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and Azure s zero-trust models (e.g., Azure Active Directory). Familiarity with agile and SAFe methodologies for enterprise delivery.
