High school diploma and experience answering telephones with exceptional customer service skills.
Position: Patient Services Representative (PRN) Location: Detroit, MI Pay: $21/hr. Job Type: Per Diem/Part time Key Responsibilities • Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients with a smile and addressing them warmly upon arrival and departure. • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns according to DCA policies. • Answer incoming calls professionally and promptly. • Schedule, confirm, and follow up on patient appointments. • Maintain and update the appointment book. • Follow up with patients who miss or cancel appointments. • Register patients using the sign-in sheet. • Post charges and payments to patient accounts accurately. • Check and respond to voicemail messages daily. • Keep the waiting area clean, comfortable, and welcoming for patients. Required Skills & Experience: • Experience answering telephones. • Exceptional customer service skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: • Prior experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office. • Familiarity with insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus. Education: • Required: High school diploma or GED. • Preferred: None specified.
