Description The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the evaluation, planning, performance, and management of maintenance on a Global 6000 aircraft (Global 8000 delivery Q1/Q2 2027). Provides professional recommendations associated with maintaining the aircraft’s market value and upkeep related to asset management, ensuring the airworthiness of assigned aircraft. The Maintenance Manager also maintains current technical proficiency and education of aircraft and regulatory requirements. Flexible work schedule is required to meet flight schedules, which may require periodic travel, both domestic and international. Maintains industry, business, company and customer relationships. Candidate selected for this role must relocate to reside within a 60 minute drive of KOPF. Reports To The Maintenance Manager reports directly to the Director of Maintenance and the Aircraft & Crew Manager (ACM). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned as required by management): Ensure airworthiness as defined within 14 CFR by researching permanent records, maintenance tracking program, FAA Airworthiness Directives and manufacturer’s Service Bulletins/ Customer Bulletins for assigned aircraft. Familiar working knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, industry best practices, OSHA, and IS-BAO requirements. Comply with internal company policies and procedures outlined in ACI's Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM) and other company manuals. Communicate effectively and accurately with the ACM, DOM, client, vendors, and other internal departments. Supervise and guide maintenance technicians as they carry out maintenance activities on specified aircraft during the duration of assigned projects. Maintain a safe work environment, proactively promotes safety, and conscientiously reports any unsafe conditions. Perform quality unscheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance and inspections to conform with the standards established by the company, federal regulation and industry best practices achieving the highest reliability goals. Attend all departures and arrivals of assigned aircraft. Troubleshoot reported discrepancies and handle complex technical challenges. Responsible for management of the maintenance inspection requirements per CFR 91.409 and or CFR 135.411. Provide technical support, as needed, in support of the assigned aircraft. Review and ensure all required entries into the aircraft logbooks and permanent records are accurate and preserved in accordance with company and FAA requirements. Update and interface with Computerized Maintenance Tracking Program. Procure parts and materials. Perform maintenance planning along with the management oversight of inspections, repairs, and modifications at KOPF or any other location. A team player, willing to support the crew and maintenance teammates when needed, contributes to the company's success outside the primary area of responsibility. Effective oral and written communicator and attentive proofreader. Able to write memos and emails with proper grammar, spelling, and capitalization. Maintain a current US passport to support all aircraft missions. Requirements Required Relocation to within 60 minute drive of KOPF. Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate (A&P) required. Must have a valid driver's license. Ten (10) years of experience in aviation maintenance required. A focus on assigned or similar types of aircraft is very desirable. Three (3) years or more of hands-on corporate aircraft maintenance experience on assigned or similar type aircraft. Thorough knowledge of maintenance planning, along with oversight of inspections, repairs, and modifications conducted at aircraft service centers. Flexible working schedule is a must. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods. Curious, life-long learner and motivator. Two (2) years of college or equivalent technical training in a related field is strongly preferred. Highly Desirable Formal Bombardier factory training. Other Maintenance Managers perform on-call duties and will require the candidate to travel without notice, including performing work on nights, weekends, and holidays. This position is a DOT Safety Sensitive position which will require placement in a random drug test pool.
