ACERO Building Components located in Terrell, TX is in expansion and looking for a General Laborer. We offer health benefits, paid holidays and vacation, and a career path. Our hours are Monday - Friday 7a - 4 pm, occasionally overtime. Job Summary: The general laborer position requires cleaning, the assemble and disassemble of crates/pallets, stacking wood to be stacked into bundles, secured, strapped, all this for order fulfillment. He/She will work in more than one working station. This is a light-duty position that requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving overhead reaching. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment with routine movement throughout the shift. Essential Responsibilities • Cleaning. • Assemble and disassemble of pallets and/or crates. • Strapping Bundles. • Product inspection. • Cleaning the workstation. • Other duties as assigned. Safety Requirements • Steel-toe boots • Cut resistant gloves • Safety glasses. • Uniform Physical Requirements Activity Percentage Standing / Walking 100% Lifting of up to 60lbs 50-75% Bending 75 - 100% Use of both hands, arms and shoulders 75 - 100% Environment • Non-Climate Control. • Fast-paced environment.
