Job Summary and Responsibilities Job Summary As a Clinical Business Analyst, you will be a key contributor within our Customer Solutions and Implementation department, driving the success of critical initiatives that bridge business needs with technology solutions. In this pivotal role, you’ll analyze complex business problems, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver insightful, data-driven recommendations that enhance our clinical systems and operations.Working under moderate supervision, you’ll provide technical and analytical expertise across moderately complex information systems, ensuring that business requirements are accurately defined, documented, and implemented throughout the project life cycle. Your work will require a strong understanding of business processes, industry standards, and system capabilities to support effective solution design and delivery. As part of the Business Analyst team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure our technology aligns with strategic business objectives. This role reports directly to the Director of Business Analysis and offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by advancing clinical outcomes through innovation and operational excellence. Job Responsibilities Function as an individual contributor, operating under moderate supervision and within clearly defined guidelines and objectives. Develop comprehensive documentation for moderately complex projects and information systems, ensuring clarity and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. Apply advanced business analysis expertise to evaluate and resolve system issues, identifying effective and sustainable solutions. Collaborate with teams to document detailed business requirements and system functionality—including use cases, workflow diagrams, and gap analyses—to support the development and refinement of requirements and design specifications. Analyze user needs using established methodologies and best practices, and identify, manage, and document changes in project scope as client requirements evolve. Support all phases of system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), and assist in the successful implementation of information systems. Maintain and verify bi-directional traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, and monitor, track, and report progress on assigned work, proactively escalating issues, risks, and dependencies to senior management as needed. Contribute to developing innovative solutions that address business process challenges and improve efficiency, while demonstrating subject-matter expertise within assigned functions or modules. Demonstrate knowledge of business analysis methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, applying them consistently achieve project and organizational goals. Act as a key liaison between clients and technology teams, fostering clear communication and collaboration Provide client support by contributing to system demonstrations and assisting with preparation, facilitation, and presentations Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes, including federal guidelines and HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules. Participate in requirements management and design sessions to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions Engage in a culture of continuous feedback by giving and receiving constructive input to drive individual and team performance. Support the development of Associate Business Analysts through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and guidance. Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies, including those related to HIPAA compliance, privacy, and data security. Qualifications Required Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of formal education. Requires a minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in business analysis or a closely related discipline. Demonstrated experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, and implementation. Comprehensive understanding of the requirements management life cycle and industry best practices in business analysis. Proven healthcare industry experience with a strong understanding of clinical and operational processes . Consistently meets commitments and delivers high-quality results on schedule, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured documentation . Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences. Highly organized, with excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications. Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Visio, and other collaboration tools. Strong domain knowledge of healthcare programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, or related healthcare sectors. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team while also performing independently, effectively managing multiple concurrent projects under moderate supervision.” Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in navigating shifting priorities, deadlines, and evolving business needs in dynamic project environments. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio, with solid working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office Suite. Why us?
