Field Service Technician (Backflow) – Take-Home Vehicle – $50k-$60k+ Location: Based in Longwood, FL (Serving Central Florida) Starting Wage: * Experienced/Certified: $20.00 - $21.00/hr (For candidates with current Backflow Certification or strong Plumbing/Irrigation experience). • Entry Level (Little Experience): $18.00/hr starting wage, with a guaranteed path to $20.00/hr after successful 90-day probation. Total Earnings: Average technicians earn $50,000 - $60,000+ per year via bi-monthly performance bonuses (Avg. $400-$500) and available OT. The Opportunity: Independence & Income We are a specialized team maintaining backflow preventers for local utilities. Once your training and probation are complete, you are a one-man team with a company vehicle you take home. • The Commute: Save gas and wear-and-tear on your personal car. You go straight from home to the first job site. (Note: You clock in at the first site and out at the last; travel time to/from home is not paid). Candidates must live within a 1-hour drive of Longwood, FL. • The Pay Ladder: Entry-level candidates have a clear path to $20/hr within 90 days. We also provide a path to becoming a Certified Technician with further pay increases. • Overtime: We offer up to 10 hours of OT per week for those who want to maximize their paycheck. The Work Reality This is a field-based role that requires independence and physical stamina. • Environment: You will be working outdoors in the Florida heat and rain. • Physicality & Excavation: While heavy lifting is rare (rarely over 30 lbs), you will be excavating with shovels and trowels to access, install, or repair underground equipment. • Agility: A significant portion of your day is spent in a kneeling position working on assemblies. You must be comfortable with the "dirty" side of the job when digging is required. Requirements: • Background: Must pass a criminal background check (Required for our government utility contracts). • License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. • Age: Candidates 25+ are preferred for insurance; however, we are open to younger, highly motivated candidates at an adjusted starting wage to offset insurance premiums. • Experience: 1+ year of Irrigation or Plumbing experience is a plus, but we will train the right person.
