About the Role The Legal & Compliance Specialist reports to the Chief Legal Officer and plays a central role in supporting Legal, Compliance, and key business functions across the Company. The position manages the execution, organization, and tracking of the Company’s legal and compliance documentation, supports governance processes, and helps ensure the Company remains audit-ready and aligned with internal controls. This role requires strong organizational judgment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate workflows across multiple teams in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Manage contract and document workflows from intake through execution, including preparing signature-ready documents and coordinating the execution process. Maintain organized and accurate company records, including agreements, governance materials, policies, and compliance documentation. Support governance processes, including preparing materials for Board and stockholder actions and coordinating related recordkeeping. Track compliance obligations, filings, deadlines, approvals, and policy acknowledgments. Assist in preparing materials for financings, diligence exercises, regulatory reviews, and internal or external audits. Coordinate with Finance, Sales, People, Information Security, and other teams to ensure documentation and approvals follow established Company processes. Support implementation of compliance programs and governance frameworks across the Company. Help maintain internal controls that ensure contracts, approvals, and policy acknowledgments follow Company policies. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve legal, compliance, and document-management processes. Exercise sound judgment in prioritizing requests, escalating risks, and maintaining accuracy in time-sensitive environments. Handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly and in accordance with Company policies and applicable regulations. What You Bring Required Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record. At least two years of experience in a legal, compliance, operations or administrative role. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Word. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Interest in legal operations, compliance, or corporate governance. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Helpful Paralegal certificate or other relevant training. Familiarity with productivity and workflow tools.
