ACCIONA, through its Living&Culture business unit, is seeking to hire a Scheduling and Project Controls Specialist in the United States for a cultural project. Job Description Mission: To collaborate and provide support in the projects carried out by their business unit/department, in accordance with the guidelines given by their supervisor, with the aim of improving both decision-making processes and project execution through their work. They are responsible for the technical planning of the construction project in order to understand and organize the necessary construction procedures and production resources, address uncertainties and external constraints, determine the most suitable sequence for executing the tasks, and define both partial and overall project timelines. The activities of the project are analyzed by defining for each one its measurements, the production resources required for execution, performance rates, and execution deadlines. They also establish precedence relationships between the various activities. Key Responsibilities: Develop project planning using P6 or MS Project, establishing the baseline for economic and progress work monitoring. Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Manage project changes to minimize their impact on the overall schedule. Analyze project data to identify variances, communicating corrective actions as necessary to maintain on schedule targets. Attends meetings to oversee and validate third-party schedules to ensure project objectives are met Support the management team (or Project Manager) in tracking project timelines, remaining cost estimate, deliverables, and resource allocation. Analyze project performance metrics and provide actionable insights to management, enabling informed decision-making and risk mitigation. Required Skills and Competencies Minimum 7 years of experience in similar roles. Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, schedule and financial modeling. Deep understanding of planning, financial principles and budgeting processes. Primavera P6 or MS Project, ERP (Navision, Business Central). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
