How ACCESS PT supports you: • 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan - 100% match after 1 year (up to 4%) • Paid sick leave (varies by state) • Wellness Program Access • 10% childcare tuition discount at Kindercare Childcare Centers • Training and career development • Network partnerships with top health systems in the region Job Position: Patient Coordinator Job Location: 1735 Ellington Road, #12 South Windsor, Connecticut 06074 Job Type: Full-Time - Mon/Wed 11:30am-7pm, Tues/Thurs 11:30am-8pm, Fri 7:30pm-4pm Salary Description: $17.00-$19.00/hour, based on experience • Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while delivering exceptional customer service • Verify insurance, process authorizations, and collect payments to ensure smooth billing and patient access to care • Maintain accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documents • Answer phone calls, assist patients, and uphold HIPAA compliance, ensuring a welcoming and professional healthcare experience • High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and exp. • Medical receptionist experience a plus • EMR scheduling software knowledge a plus • EPIC software knowledge is a plus • Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
