About the role Accelerant is seeking a highly analytical and execution-oriented Manager/Senior Manager of Business Operations - new Verticals to help stand up and scale our new verticals starting with Accelerant's entry into the retail broker space from concept to launch. Reporting to the Director of Business Operations - New Verticals and AI, you'll partner across teams to structure ambiguity, solve complex business problems, and deliver operational results. This high-visibility, cross-functional role works closely with Product & Technology, Distribution, Operations, Claims, and Finance, as well as external partners such as brokers and vendors. The ideal candidate combines strategic problem-solving with a bias for action and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Retail Broker Strategy Launch Execution • Translate business strategy into actionable plans and measurable milestones to launch into the retail broker space • Coordinate workstreams across Product & Technology, Distribution, Operations, Claims, and Finance to ensure alignment on scope and timelines • Support readiness for go-live, including vendor assessment, process documentation, OKR definition, and governance setup Problem Solving & Execution • Lead analytical problem-solving on high-priority business challenges; develop insights and clear recommendations • Design and implement scalable processes that improve efficiency, visibility, and accountability • Anticipate issues, propose creative solutions, and maintain execution momentum in evolving environments Cross-Functional Collaboration • Serve as a connective link between internal and external teams to drive cross-functional priorities • Prepare materials for steering sessions and partner meetings, ensuring clarity in decisions and accountability • Translate leadership priorities into structured, trackable execution plans Strategic Enablement • Develop repeatable frameworks for launching and scaling future verticals • Stay attuned to trends in insurance distribution, digital platforms, and MGA operations Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus • 1-3 years in consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations • Experience in insurance, fintech, or financial services a plus • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Proven ability to bring structure to ambiguity and align cross-functional teams • Self-starter with high attention to detail and a hands-on, ownership mindset. #LI-DNI
