About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Specialist to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems, contributing directly to uninterrupted production. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems will be essential to our success. Responsibilities • Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery based on established schedules and manuals to minimize downtime. • Serve as a key point of contact for addressing and resolving facility maintenance issues promptly. • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance. • Ensure all machinery operates safely by verifying the functionality of manufacturer-installed safety devices. • Respond to and resolve machine breakdowns and operating irregularities reported by department personnel. • Manage special projects, coordinating with operations and the PM schedule to meet deadlines. • Oversee and coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs. • Maintain the facility's infrastructure, including equipment relocation, service drops, and lighting. Qualifications Required Skills • High school diploma or equivalent. • 3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance role. • Proficiency with hand and power tools. • Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics. Preferred Skills • Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance on press brakes, laser/turrets, and paint lines. • Knowledge of low voltage control and power supply circuits. • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements for driving plow trucks.
