Who we are: Acadian is a private institution consisting of 5 different locations in Allen Park, Dearborn, Detroit and Southgate. Each clinic has its own specialty serving their diverse populations. At Acadian Clinic we are committed to ensuring a safe, friendly, and comfortable workplace. We offer flexible scheduling, health insurance and competitive compensation. We are looking to hire one Part or full time Spanish speaking Nurse Practitioner or PA in our primary care office in Detroit to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote good health practices . The job description of an NP/PA includes overseeing patients’ health, conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab and diagnostic tests, ordering imaging, prescribing medication and continued follow-up in a timely manner. Patient care and positive outcomes are your top priority. You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator but your end goal will be supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. Clinical experience is preferred but not required. New grads are encouraged to apply. As an NP or PA at Acadian, you’ll be working together with a friendly team of staff members and professionals to ensure the best and most comfortable work environment in order to perform your job well and feel fulfilled in your career as a health care provider. You will be collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals and co-workers, so being a dependable team player, having a positive attitude and able to be flexible is required. Patience, respect, compassion, empathy, transparency, problem-solving and great communication skills are essential for this position. Responsibilities • Examine patients and their medical records • Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.) • Diagnose health conditions and illnesses • Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases • Prescribe proper medications • Maintain accurate records and schedules • Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications • Educate patients and their family members on diseases and maintenance • Oversee patients’ overall health • Promote good health practices • Advance professional knowledge Skills • Experience in primary care, acute care or chronic care practices preferred but not required • Knowledge of health and patient care guidelines • Excellent communication skills • Strong work ethic • Team spirit with a positive attitude • Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience • Valid NP/PA license • Master’s degree Benefits: • Malpractice insurance • Paid time off Medical Specialty: • Primary Care Physical Setting: • Outpatient Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday-Friday 9-5, Saturdays 9-2 Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo Sueldo: $76,863.00 - $167,090.00 al año Licencia/Certificación: • Certified Nurse Practitioner (Deseable) Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
