ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to design and implement the blockchain core of BioMatrix.ai. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who thrives in 0→1 innovation, has deep blockchain expertise, and wants to build systems that scale globally. You will own the development of blockchain solutions that combine biometric identity, tokenized payments, and AI-ready data systems — ensuring they are secure, scalable, and production-ready. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Architect and implement blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and distributed systems. • Develop tokenized payment flows and biometric verification integrations. • Integrate biometric verification (Face Scan) and payment flows (BioPay) into blockchain applications. • Deliver secure, efficient, and scalable blockchain systems through rigorous testing. • Build and deploy smart contracts for payments, utility, and governance. • Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and QA teams to align with roadmap and user needs. • Mentor engineers and establish blockchain best practices. • Stay ahead of Web3, DeFi, RWA tokenization, and decentralized identity trends. MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Cryptography, or related technical field. • 5+ years blockchain development experience (protocols, dApps, Layer 1/2, Web3/DeFi). • Proficiency in Java and Solidity. • Strong expertise in smart contract security, cryptography, and distributed systems. • Experience with Ethereum, Solana, or other major blockchain platforms. • Proven track record delivering production-grade blockchain systems. • Must already have U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorship). HIGHLY PREFERRED • Experience with real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. • Familiarity with fintech, identity verification, or biometric systems.
