This role focuses on hands-on technical development and solution design, with an emphasis on delivering scalable, high-quality applications tailored to client needs. The ideal candidate is a certified Salesforce consultant who thrives in collaborative environments, works closely with stakeholders, and consistently delivers innovative, sustainable solutions. Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodation will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions: Configure, customize, and extend Salesforce (Apex, SOQL, Flows, custom objects, and Experience Cloud). Develop and optimize workflows, applications, and integrations to improve efficiency and data accuracy. Implement scalable Salesforce solutions that support core business functions such as Finance, Procurement, Case Management, and external user registration. Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and automations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Partner with clients to gather requirements, translate business needs into Salesforce solutions, and conduct user-acceptance testing. Provide technical support by triaging errors, resolving issues, and implementing long-term sustainable fixes. Deliver clear documentation and training to ensure client adoption of implemented solutions. Innovation & Continuous Learning Stay current on Salesforce ecosystem developments and incorporate new features and AI-driven capabilities. Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, including facilitating internal trainings and promoting Salesforce and AI best practices. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development and configuration (Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, custom objects). Proven ability to design and deliver Salesforce solutions in consulting environments. Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving technical and business process challenges. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams. Expected Hours of Work: Schedule may vary. Work on evenings and weekends may be required. Dependability and punctuality are paramount. Travel Requirements: Up to 75% travel is expected for this position. Must be willing to travel and deploy to client sites for extended periods of time. Physical Demands: Mobility required on-site with clients. Sitting or standing for hours at a time. Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time if needed. Ability to lift up to 15lbs. repetitively throughout the day and as needed. Working Environment: Emergency management personnel may work in an office or home environment or be deployed to the field which may require working outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Work may be on-site with clients ex: EOC, hospital, debris sites or local government buildings. All AC Disaster Consulting (ACDC) positions are remote work site positions with the home location agreed upon at time of hire. Experience/Education Required: 3-8 years experience in software engineering Experience/Education Preferred: Salesforce Certified Administrator Certification Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certification Salesforce Certified Business Analyst Certification Salesforce Certified AI Associate / AI Specialist Certification Salesforce Certified UX Designer Certification Salesforce Certified Strategy Designer Certification Slack Certified Consultant Certification Experience working with state agencies/EOC and emergency management software engineering Degree in Software Engineering Additional Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older.
