Customer Service Administrative Support Requirements and Competencies • An ideal team player mindset: people smarts, humility and drive. • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role. • Experience in the aerospace industry or in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required. • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook). • Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills with ability to communicate with customers and all levels of an organization. • Strong written language skills in both spelling and grammar. • Extremely detail-oriented with strong ability to review and analyze data. • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to question information and express when data does not comply with requirements or if there is a risk of non-compliance. • Self-motivated, energetic, well-organized individual with the ability to prioritize in a fast moving environment. • Willingness to learn the various areas of our company, including a general understanding of our manufacturing processes, quality systems and other supporting functions. Customer Service Administrative Support Duties Your role would be working on the Customer Service team, handling various administrative tasks involving the gathering, creating, and reviewing of all documentation required for customer shipments. Although technical knowledge is not required, we are looking for a team member who is enthusiastic in learning aspects of our quality and machining processes. • Performs special projects and various administrative tasks for the Customer Service Supervisor and Customer Service team. • Creates and prints general pack list paperwork to send with physical shipment of vendor managed inventory (VMI) parts to customer; creates and prints direct bill pack list paperwork in MRP program. • Reviews pick list report (available to ship portion) and commitment updater to determine shipment priorities. • Hands off completed documentation for DSQR or source review, if applicable; takes all shipment documentation to the shipping department; coordinates with various departments to support in facilitating shipments. • Participates in departmental meetings and communicates technical information to various departments. • Performs data collection and data entry, as needed. • Performs other duties as assigned.
