High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and preferably one year of HVAC or supervisory experience.
## Key Role Overview The Maintenance Lead troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC and related equipment as assigned. The role also assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely and cost-effective manner, and may direct smaller work groups when a supervisor is present. ## Key Responsibilities - Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts. - Handle heavy workload of calls. - Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return. - Manage workload and job scheduling. - Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork. - Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs). - Keep manager informed of customer feedback. - Communicate effectively and promptly. - Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team. - Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the company. - When the Supervisor is present, direct smaller work groups as assigned. - Report team performance issues to the Supervisor. ## Required Qualifications - Must be 18 years of age or older. - Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license. - High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required. ## Preferred Qualifications (if any) - One (1) year of prior HVAC or mechanical technician experience is preferred. - One (1) year of prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred. ## Compensation & Benefits - Pay: $27.00 per hour. - ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. ## Additional Information - Work arrangement and specific location not specified in the posting. - Role is suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience; veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply. - Military Occupational Specialty Codes noted: 91C, UT, MK, 1161, 3E1X1.
