Warehouse & Operations Manager (Contract-to-Hire) Location: Carrollton, TX Company: ABC Dallas LLC Schedule: • On-site: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM daily • Remote: Remainder of the day • Compensation: • $18.75/hr for first 3 months (contract) • $52,000/year after conversion • $48,000 base salary • $4,000 annual performance bonus • Potential growth up to $70,000/yearCompany Description ABC Dallas LLC is a growing last-mile logistics company headquartered in Carrollton, TX. We partner with major clients to manage package delivery operations, driver coordination, and warehouse processes. As our delivery volume and route count expand, we are building a strong operations team to support our growth. Role Description We are seeking a Warehouse & Operations Manager who will oversee early-morning warehouse tasks and handle daytime remote operations management. This is a hands-on role requiring punctuality, ownership, and strong communication skills. This is a contract-to-hire role with a clear path to full-time employment and increased compensation. Key ResponsibilitiesMorning Warehouse Operations (On-site: 7–9 AM) • Arrive at the warehouse by 7:00 AM sharp every morning. • Collect and sort undelivered or returned packages from the previous day. • Assign packages to drivers based on route, package count, and workload. • Enter operational data into internal Google Sheets. • Ensure morning workflow is completed accurately before the shift transitions to remote work. Remote Operations Management (After 9 AM) • Monitor driver activity through the client’s driver app throughout the day. • Follow up with drivers inactive for more than 1 hour. • Handle driver inquiries, support requests, and mid-day changes remotely. • Prepare the next-day driver schedule and confirm attendance via phone calls. • Maintain digital records, logs, and documentation. • Coordinate remotely with the nightly package sorter to ensure next-day readiness. • Respond to emergencies such as accidents or breakdowns and arrange recovery of packages. Finance Support (Light) • Sort client invoices and prepare summaries for leadership. HR Coordination (Light) • Review applicants and provide a shortlist of qualified driver candidates. • Maintain basic onboarding and driver documentation. Optional (Growth Opportunity) • Assist with basic data analysis for route performance and cost optimization. • Knowledge of Python, SQL, Tableau, or BI tools is a plus. Qualifications • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or field operations strongly preferred. • Punctual, reliable, and able to manage operations with minimal supervision. • Strong communication and coordination skills, especially with drivers. • Proficient with Google Sheets or similar tools. • Ability to handle basic warehouse tasks when needed. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Forklift experience is a plus (not required). Additional Preferred Skills • Bilingual in English & Spanish strongly preferred (helps coordinate with drivers).
