5-8+ years CRM or customer analytics experience in cannabis retail with expertise in Flowhub, Alpine IQ, Dutchie, GA4, and Looker Studio.
ABC Brand / Design – Remote (U.S.) | Los Angeles Preferred ABC Brand / Design is a senior-led brand and marketing agency serving cannabis, wellness, and CPG operators nationwide. We partner with retailers and emerging brands to architect the systems, data foundations, and lifecycle programs behind long-term customer growth. We are seeking a Senior CRM Operations Specialist with deep experience in cannabis retail, ideally at a multi-store operator, to support CRM setup, ongoing reporting, and data insights for our clients. This is a contract role (10–20 hours/month) working closely with our Founder and directly supporting client-facing work. If you’re an expert in Flowhub, Alpine IQ, Dutchie (and ideally Jane, GA4, Looker Studio) and understand the nuances of cannabis retail data, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities CRM Infrastructure & Setup • Support CRM system setup, configuration, and audit activities across Flowhub, Alpine IQ, and Dutchie/Jane. • Validate POS → CRM data syncs, including customer profiles, purchase history, product categories, and source-of-order flags. • Surface data integrity issues (duplicates, fragmentation, incomplete profiles) and document required fixes. • Assist in building lifecycle foundations (segments, rules, triggers) based on client needs. Monthly Reporting & Analysis • Produce monthly CRM + sales performance reports using AIQ attribution, Flowhub data exports, GA4, and Looker Studio dashboards. • Analyze customer behavior patterns including new vs. returning customers, visit frequency, AOV, category trends, cart behavior, and ecommerce intent signals. • Identify actionable insights and opportunities for lifecycle automation, segmentation, and revenue optimization. • Present findings internally and contribute supporting commentary for client-facing readouts. Lifecycle & Segmentation Support • Help operationalize behavior-based segments (e.g., first-time buyers, category loyalists, high-value customers, lapsed). • Review automations and ensure correct trigger logic, timing, and data flow (welcome, post-purchase, winback, browse/cart intent). • Assist in setting up foundational campaign and transactional templates (email/SMS). Ecommerce Flow & Intent Analysis • Evaluate menu behavior from AIQ-hosted Dutchie/Flow Hub menus, including add-to-cart, browse abandonment, online checkout, and conversion patterns. • Collaborate on multi-path customer journey mapping (online-first → in-store, pure in-store, hybrid journeys). Client Collaboration (Light) • Join occasional client calls (1–2 per month) to support progress updates, reporting walk-throughs, and clarification of data insights. Required Skills & Experience • 5–8+ years CRM, lifecycle marketing, or customer analytics experience, ideally within cannabis retail. • Direct expertise with: • Flowhub POS • Alpine IQ (segments, automations, attribution, menu insights) • Dutchie (and ideally Jane) • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) • Looker Studio / Data Studio • Strong command of customer lifecycle metrics, CRM attribution, and retail revenue diagnostics. • Deep understanding of cannabis retail operational realities: check-in experience, data capture friction, POS workflows, compliance, loyalty, and multi-store dynamics. • Highly analytical with strong ability to extract, transform, and interpret customer data. • Comfortable working in a senior-led, fast-moving, agency/consulting environment. • Excellent written communication — able to distill complex data into clear insights. Nice-to-Have • Experience with Klaviyo, Springbig, or other cannabis-focused CRM tools. • Background supporting NYC, CA, IL, MI, or MA cannabis operators. • Familiarity with lifecycle strategy or customer journey mapping. • Experience working in brand, agency, or startup environments.
