In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. Abbott is seeking a passionate, experienced, and strategic medical device expert to join our Electrophysiology Marketing team as a Senior Field Marketing Manager, focusing on the US Market. This role will serve as a leader within the Field Marketing function, bridging the gap between regional marketing efforts and national strategy. The Senior Field Marketing Manager will work closely with Field Marketing Managers, the Senior Manager of Field Marketing, and the broader commercial organization to drive key initiatives, optimize regional marketing strategies, and support business growth within a designated geographical area. What You’ll Work On Support regional and national product launches by providing in-person support to field teams regarding product education and case execution. Gather large-scale feedback initiatives to ensure best practices and maintain 360 feedback between field and internal teams. Drive physician engagement by creating and executing programs aimed at increasing product adoption in key accounts where Abbott has not yet sustained success. Facilitate regional communication and updates via newsletters, calls, and in-person presentations to maintain consistency in field education on marketing and commercial initiatives. Manage field resources and competitive intelligence, including playbooks, monthly newsletters, and product demos (SensiTherm/Heartroid/Mini Mentice, etc.), while researching and analyzing competitive market trends. Provide R&D and upstream feedback by comparing Abbott technology against competitive offerings and ensuring marketing messages align with customer needs. Lead strategic planning and participate in Integrated Marketing Business Planning (IMPB) sessions, helping with customer segmentation for launches, KPI coordination, and developing field programs to launch products efficiently. Serve as a senior leader within the Field Marketing team, mentoring Field Marketing Managers. Partner closely with the Senior Manager of Field Marketing to develop and execute regional marketing strategies aligned with national objectives. Assist in managing and executing targeted marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with commercial and corporate goals. Act as a key liaison between the US Product Management team and Field Marketing Managers, providing feedback on messaging, promotions, and limited market releases. Drive capital services sales and capital marketing promotions within the designated geography. Develop and refine segmentation strategies to identify key accounts, growth opportunities, and targeted marketing efforts. Analyze complex data sets to assess campaign performance and drive decision-making. Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and top accounts to enhance Abbott’s brand presence and drive preference for Abbott EP products. Support the execution of new product launches, including training regional teams and tracking adoption metrics. Maintain a problem-solving and collaborative relationship with Marketing and Sales leadership, measured by 360 feedback. Increase the effectiveness of data-driven tools such as Salesforce and Power BI to refine field strategies. Conduct product overviews and presentations for physicians, sales teams, and other stakeholders. Represent Abbott at key conferences, industry events, and marketing strategy meetings. Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in healthcare, life sciences, or technology-based products. Proven experience in field marketing, strategic product planning, or commercial execution within the medical device industry. Leadership experience, with the ability to manage projects across a matrixed and geographically diverse organization. Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at multiple levels. Strong analytical skills, with experience leveraging data-driven insights to drive marketing initiatives. Understanding of electrophysiology products, market dynamics, and customer needs. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that drive business outcomes. Ability to travel up to 75%. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of marketing or EP clinical support experience. Experience working with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting. MBA preferred.
