The Sr. Field Clinical Specialist oversees the direction, planning, execution, and data collection activities of clinical trials. They are responsible for recruiting clinical investigators and ensuring adherence to protocols within a clinical setting.
An Associate's Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience are required, with a preference for candidates who are RNs or RTs with Cath Lab experience. Medical Device Clinical Trial and/or Research Experience is highly preferred.

The Opportunity We are seeking a Sr. Field Clinical Specialist to work Remotely covering our East Coast region for our Vascular division. The Sr. Field Clinical Specialist has comprehensive knowledge in the area of Medical Affairs. Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects. Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease. What You’ll Work On As the Specialist in the Medical Affairs Sub-Function, considered as a highly experienced and knowledgeable resource within the organization in overseeing the direction, planning, execution, clinical trials/research and the data collection activities. Contributes to implementation of clinical protocols, and facilitates completion of final reports. Recruits clinical investigators and negotiates study design and costs. Responsible for directing human clinical trials, phases III & IV for company products under development. Participates in adverse event reporting and safety responsibilities monitoring. Coordinates and provides reporting information for reports submitted to the regulatory agencies. Monitors adherence to protocols by clinicians within a clinical setting Monitors and determines study completion. Coordinates and oversees investigator initiations and group studies. May participate in adverse event reporting and safety responsibilities monitoring. May act as consultant/liaison with other corporations when working under licensing agreements. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree 7+ years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications Highly prefer and RN or RT with Cath Lab experience Medical Device Clinical Trial and/or Research Experience 80% Travel within the United States Please note that the salary range listed is our full grade range.
