The Pediatric Sales Specialist is responsible for the promotion, management, and growth of Abbott Nutritional products in hospital and healthcare provider settings. This includes developing territory sales goals, negotiating with hospitals, and launching new products.
A bachelor's degree is required, along with a minimum of three years of sales experience with healthcare professionals. Preferred candidates include Registered Dietitians or Registered Nurses with sales experience.

Our location in South Florida currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Sales Specialist. This position is responsible for the promotion, management, and growth of Abbott Nutritional products in both hospital, acute care settings and health care provider offices. Responsibilities Developing and supporting territory sales goals in both offices and hospital systems covering the Abbott Infant and Pediatric Nutrition portfolio. Hospital negotiations and contracting, experience working with hospital supply chains. Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment. New product launches. An understanding of the hierarchy of both offices and hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units. The ability to work effectively with Physicians, Dietitians, Nurses and supply chain. Effective administrative skills, organizing your time. Budget management. Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy. Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short and long term goals. Territory This territory covers the South Florida district that includes Tampa, Ft. Myers, Ft Lauderdale, Miami and West Palm. Travel: 30% overnights needed Ideal candidate to live in Miami, West Palm or Fr. Lauderdale surrounding suburbs. Relocation is not available for this role. Local candidates only, please. * . Education and Experience Required Bachelor's degree required. The ideal candidate may also have a minimum of three years sales experience working with SHealth Care Professionals. The ideal candidate will be a RD or RN with sales experience, and technically knowledgeable. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs to assist with stocking and the movement of pediatric products.
