The Opportunity Abbott Point of Care is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) to join our US Outpatient Sales Team. This strategic role is focused on customer retention, expansion, and new business development within large enterprise accounts. The EAM will cultivate senior-level relationships and leverage them to drive profitable growth and increased utilization of APOC solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distributor engagement and a deep understanding of the medical equipment sales process in the U.S. healthcare market. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with solid business acumen, financial fluency, and analytical capabilities. This role also requires the ability to lead cross-functional internal teams without direct authority and manage complex account dynamics effectively. This is a remote sales opportunity and will cover the Southern US and would prefer the candidate to live Southern United States.(TN, AR, LA, TX, MS, AL, FL, GA, NC, SC) What You’ll Work On Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Responsible for driving profitable revenue and opportunities within strategic accounts by initiating, developing and/or delivering unique solutions that result in improved customer and/or patient outcomes. Investigate and understand the strategic account and their business environment including but not limited to goals, objectives, strategies and competitive situations and potential regulatory impact. Identify industry trends and changing market regulations and their potential impact on strategic accounts. Maintain a detailed understanding of customer decision makers and influencers; build and preserve customer relationships to leverage in driving new sales as well as protecting base business. Understand, analyze and accurately interpret key financial performance indicators for strategic accounts and how APOC solution options may impact targeted financial objectives. Coordinate appropriate resources to execute the strategic account plan including but not limited to assigning roles, expectations, responsibilities and timelines; engage members of the team through ongoing communication, tactical planning and execution. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years of relevant sales experience in the Point of Care, Diagnostics, or Healthcare Capital Equipment industry, of which 1-3 years should be sales experience selling to executive-level decision-makers, to execute the duties and responsibilities of the position or a combination of 5+ years of relevant sales experience and leadership experience. Must be willing to travel 75% in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with or for distributors Understanding of sales and distributor practices Background of success in value-based solution-selling; ability to provide ongoing and enterprise level solutions to customers Ability to work independently, in groups and to effectively lead groups Ability to influence and manage without direct authority Demonstrated initiative, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Executive-level business and financial acumen with strong negotiation skills.
