Job Details Client DoorDash Title Project Coordinator/Specialist-II Location HQ, USA, CA, San Francisco, 2nd St Description We're looking for a highly organized, detail oriented, and proactive Project Operations Coordinator to lead the coordination of a special project to help DoorDash grow its In Store business. We need this person to lead the effort in mobilizing ~80 dashers across 6 cities to make large-scale test transactions (i.e. visit 100+ stores as quickly as possible). This role will be critical to ensuring operational excellence as we execute test transactions in 6 cities, covering approximately 2,000 stores per city. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing communication with ~80 Dashers nationwide, and very familiar and adept at using spreadsheets for tracking purposes. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate Dasher Testers Nationwide: Recruit, organize, and manage Dashers performing in-store test transactions across 6 cities. - Distribute Store Lists: Assign stores to Dashers and ensure even, complete coverage across all test locations. - Track Progress and Quality: Monitor Dasher activity in real time through Google Sheets, validate completion data, and follow up on missing or incorrect submissions. - Communicate Clearly and Frequently: Maintain daily communication with Dashers via email, chat, or other internal tools, providing instructions, answering questions, and troubleshooting issues. - Maintain Accurate Data: Create and manage Google Sheets to track assignments, completions, and payments; ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy. - Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with internal operations and strategy teams to provide status updates and flag potential risks or insights from the tests. Qualifications • Strong proficiency with Google Sheets (advanced formulas, filters, conditional formatting, etc.). • Exceptional organizational and project management skills; able to manage high-volume, detail-heavy workflows. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Comfortable managing and motivating a large distributed workforce (Dashers or similar gig workers). • Proven ability to work independently and move quickly in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment. • Prior experience in operations, logistics, or field coordination is strongly preferred.
