Organize and analyze healthcare workforce data, develop role taxonomies, build dashboards, and produce labor intelligence reports.
4-7 years in workforce analytics or healthcare research with hands-on experience in SQL and BI tools, strong data organization and communication skills.
This is a remote role within the USA Be the hands-on architect who builds the foundational map of the Business of Healthcare workforce. You will organize, analyze, and expand AAPC’s data; source external labor intelligence; and develop the frameworks and early insights that mature into AAPC’s future workforce intelligence division. You Will Inventory, clean, and structure existing AAPC role and labor data Develop the early taxonomy for BoH roles and competencies Conduct interviews/surveys with employers, professionals, and educators Build dashboards and analytical views of the workforce Identify and integrate external labor datasets Produce early research briefs and workforce snapshots Work with a leader and external research/data partners Lay groundwork for scalable workforce data products What You’ve Done 4–7 years experience in workforce analytics, healthcare research, labor economics, consulting, or BI in a healthcare domain Comfort working with structured and unstructured workforce data (job titles, resumes, skills, job postings, staffing data, comp data) Hands-on analytics experience (SQL, Tableau/Power BI, or similar tools) Demonstrated ability to organize chaos into clean frameworks Who You Are Builder personality: scrappy, curious, methodical Enjoys pattern-finding in messy datasets and job titles Fascination with labor markets, job pathways, and skills frameworks Communicates clearly and enjoys sharing insights with non-technical audiences Capable of being the “first of many” in a future team What Success Looks Like A clean, structured foundation for BoH workforce taxonomy and data assets First-version dashboards and labor intelligence reports AAPC positioned to launch workforce data products and insights About AAPC: AAPC (www.aapc.com) is the world’s fastest growing and now largest training, certification, and solutions association in healthcare.
