Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with specific coursework in business-related disciplines and a minimum of 5 years of federal government contracting experience. Experience in construction contracting and architect-engineer services is also required.

Clearance: Must obtain a Public Trust Work Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm Work Day: Monday – Friday Openings: 5 Aalis Management Consulting is seeking several highly qualified Senior Contract Specialists to support the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition activities. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the Contracting Officer. Key Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Contracting Officer, the Senior Contract Specialist will: Conduct acquisition planning and market research in collaboration with project teams. Determine appropriate contract types and solicitation strategies, considering set-asides and socioeconomic goals. Prepare and post pre-solicitation documentation in the System for Award Management (SAM). Draft and issue solicitations, Requests for Proposals (RFPs)/Quotes (RFQs), and amendments. Coordinate with project teams to address inquiries and evaluate proposal responsiveness. Support technical evaluation panels and participate in source selection and best-value tradeoff processes. Assist in negotiations, perform cost/price analysis, and document source selection activities. Prepare contract awards for Contracting Officer signature and distribute award documentation. Administer contracts, maintain electronic contract files, resolve payment issues, and ensure compliance with DOL wage determinations. Process contract modifications, evaluate contractor proposals, and document negotiation outcomes. Prepare contract closeout documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in any field. Must include 24 semester hours in business-related disciplines such as accounting, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management. Minimum of 5 years of federal government contracting experience. At least 5 years of experience in construction contracting. Minimum of 3 years of experience in architect-engineer services contracting. FAC-C or DAWIA certification or equivalent is preferred.
