Support integrated behavioral health within primary care, coordinate workflows, and lead staff, balancing clinical and leadership duties.
Requires at least four years of clinical experience in integrated mental health, supervisory or management experience, and licensure as LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist.
Do you believe behavioral health works best when it’s part of everyday medical care, not something separate? If so, this role was designed with you in mind. As the Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Program Manager you’ll work side by side with primary care teams to support warm handoffs, real-time consults, and short-term behavioral health interventions. You’ll help bridge behavioral health and medical care for patients managing chronic illness, complex conditions, and life stressors that impact health outcomes. You’ll remain clinically engaged while also serving in a leadership role supporting IBH staff, coordinating care, and helping refine workflows that make integrated care effective and accessible. Your time is intentionally balanced, about 50% of it is direct patient care and 50% is leadership and coordination, so the work stays meaningful and sustainable. What this role looks like day to day: • Embedded work within a primary care clinic • About 8 patient caseload per day • Brief, focused clinical visits aligned with medical care (usually 30-45 minutes) • 90-minute intake assessments • Predictable weekday schedule with no evenings or weekends • No productivity quotas or travel expectations The IBH Manager role is a great fit for a California-licensed LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist with at least four years of post-license clinical experience in integrated or specialty mental health, along with prior supervisory or management experience. Salary: $98,000–$140,000 What We Offer • Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) with a company laptop • Signing bonus as a warm welcome to the team • Generous paid time off, including 12 paid holidays (with a floating holiday), vacation, and sick time • Comprehensive benefits with four health plan options and 95% of premiums covered • 403(b) retirement plan with employer match • Eligibility for the State Loan Forgiveness Program and HRSA Loan Repayment Program • Free access to the Headspace mindfulness app If you’re excited about integrated care done the right way collaborative, sustainable, and centered on whole-person health, we’d love to hear from you.
