Quality Assurance Team Manager- Casualty This management position serves as an instrumental component of the day-to-day activities within the Quality Assurance unit. This leadership role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of Casualty audit processes, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise from multiple Casualty functions, strong leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to drive performance and uphold quality standards across the unit. Key Responsibilities Audit Oversight & Quality Control Review and validate audit findings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion. Conduct monthly re-audits to assess auditor performance and identify coaching opportunities. Monitor audit trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address systemic issues. Team Leadership & Development Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and annual evaluations to team members. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives to build a high-performing team. Identify training needs and implement development plans to support succession planning. Strategic Communication & Collaboration Facilitate calibration meetings, auditor roundtables, and management briefings to align on goals, expectations, and process changes. Communicate organizational vision, objectives, and performance metrics to the team. Present audit results, trends, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership through formal reports and presentations. Operational Excellence Ensure adherence to claims handling guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the evolution of audit methodologies. Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience Preferred. Minimum 7 years of claims handling experience in multiple disciplines, including Casualty required (multiple casualty disciplines preferred). Advanced knowledge of insurance policies and Department of Insurance regulations, and Claims guidelines, across ACE markets preferred. Strong proficiency Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop talent across varying experience levels. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through change and drive performance. The starting pay range for this position is: $90,400.00 - $120,300.00 Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance. .
