👋 I’m Tommy, and I’m the CEO of A1 Garage Door. I’m glad you’re here. I started the company in 2007, and we have since grown to be the largest residential garage door service company in North America, operating in 40 markets+ across 20 states. For the next 3 months, we need a creative, get-it-done Instructional Designer to help us deliver training that sticks. We work a hybrid schedule, 2 days remote, and 3 days in office. This role is a temporary assignment of 3 months. (Our office is located in Phoenix, at the corner of 32nd Street and E Broadway Rd.) ✨ Your Mission 🎯 Partner with trainers & SMEs to design high-impact learning experiences 💻 Build interactive e-learning in Articulate 360 & create learning paths in Schoox 📄 Develop job aids, quick guides, and videos that simplify complex topics 🛠 Adapt content for different audiences — from field techs to office staff ⏱ Manage multiple deliverables and hit tight deadlines without sacrificing quality 🧠 Apply adult learning principles so training actually changes behavior 🛠 What You Bring ✅ 3+ years of instructional design experience ✅ Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) — Schoox a plus ✅ Strong project management & organization skills ✅ Excellent communication & collaboration skills ✅ Ability to work fast, stay flexible, and still produce polished work 💡 Why You’ll Love This Project Hybrid schedule: 2 days remote, 3 days in-office (Phoenix HQ) Work on training that will live on long after your project ends Pay: $30 – $38/hour, paid bi-weekly as a 1099 Fun, driven team that values creativity and results Duration: 3 months contract 📩 Ready to make an impact?
