Therapeutic Housing Program (THP) (Assistant) Director Job Responsibilities: Anisa’s Place is the therapeutic home for 6 female and female identifying youth located in Clackamas County, Oregon. The Therapeutic Housing Program (THP) Program Director is responsible for the management of care and services for youth; provision of regular and timely reports to Behavior Rehabilitation Services (BRS) regarding operations, services, and finances; establishing a respective and supportive workplace environment, and elevating any issues or concerns to the Executive Director and Operations Director. Key Areas of Responsibility include: • Supervising and supporting Shift Supervisors, House Manager and On Call Staff • Leading regular feedback sessions and timely performance reviews for direct reports and setting that expectation for all supervisors. Ensuring proper documentation of reviews, write ups and any corrective action plans needed. • Creating a safe, productive, collaborative, and learning environment for all staff • Ensuring proactive schedule setting for the team including clear documentation and maintenance of schedule for invoicing • Ensuring high quality BRS notes weekly, and providing feedback to team members on any revisions that need to be made. • Ensuring that A Village for One’s THP Program Guidelines are followed by staff. • Communicating and interacting effectively with the Anisa’s Place management team to ensure strong program quality execution and upholding high standards for youth • Ensuring the program is fulfilling the AV41’s mission and offers recommendations to the Directors to ensure the program is having continued success • Serving as a resource in daily program operations as well as clinical and administrative decision making • Building and maintaining community partner relationships and connection • Documenting therapeutic services provided to the youth at Anisa’s place. • Coordinating referral review, screenings for new youth and supporting the intake process. Schedule and Working Conditions: This position works out of Oregon City, Oregon in a residential facility for youth. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE, 40 hour per week) position with rotating after hours coverage for Anisa’s Place. The (Assistant) Director is expected to work hours that vary in times and occasionally include weekends to meet the needs of clients. This position could require traveling in a personal vehicle to meet with clients in their communities, as well as potentially transporting clients. However, organizational vehicles are mostly used to transport youth clients. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience and enjoy working with youth and/or adolescents specifically. Ideally, they will have some exposure to mental health and social services delivery systems for minors receiving services via DHS and will be comfortable working in a diverse environment. Must be comfortable working in a regulated environment; and working within the parameters of program licensing guidelines. Leadership skills, team work, strong work ethic, and an eye for quality improvement, are crucial qualities for this position. Education and Work Experience: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Two titles are possible depending upon education achievement and expertise: Position Requirements • Previous experience with managing programming that involves child welfare administration, child protective services is preferred • Experience or Familiarity with Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and/or Behavior Rehabilitation Services is preferred. Other Requirements: ● Must successfully pass required background checks prior to beginning employment, including a DMV Driving Record Check. ● Reliable transportation, no more than 3 traffic violations in the last 3 years, and up to date insurance required.
