Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the end-to-end logistics operations for our business. This role is critical in ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials from domestic and international suppliers and delivery to customers. Entire process should maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards. They must act as the Liaison between the company and supplier, as well as working as a resource for the Commercial Team. Responsibilities: • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including domestic freight, international air/ocean cargo, and third-party logistics providers. • Manage documentation for import/export compliance (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin). • Collaborate with Planning and Procurement teams to ensure product availability for customers while minimizing costs. • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues with carriers and customs. • Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and logistics databases. • Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure proper handling, packaging, and receiving of products. • Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes and cost optimization. • Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors • Responsive to internal customers through prompt follow-up to order need, inquiries and issues • Provides insights to vendor and any crucial changes or issues • Create guidelines and standards for a scorecard and make sure that all metrics are followed by the vendors Positional Requirements & Qualifications: • Education and Experience • Associate’s degree or higher in business, supply chain management or equivalent technical school certification • Alternatively, 1-2 years of experience in a logistics-facing role identifying and addressing business and customer needs within relevant industry • Skills & Abilities • Demonstrate understanding and compliance with all applicable quality standardization procedures and processes • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in phone calls • Familiarity with freight forwarding and customs brokerage coordination. • Knowledge of DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations. • APICS or CLTD certification is a plus.
