High school diploma, 2-4 years customer-facing experience preferred, strong communication and typing skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and video conferencing, and ability to work independently in a distraction-free remote workspace.
• Title: Care Coordinator • Location: 100% Remote (U.S. residents only) Schedule: Must be available to work any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST. Training: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST, Monday–Friday, for the first 4–6 weeks (virtual attendance is mandatory). • About the Role • As a Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting patients through their treatment journey. You will help streamline access to specialty therapies, resolve patient questions, and ensure a positive, empathetic experience while working within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. • Responsibilities • Accurately enter referrals and applications into the customer relationship management platform. • Resolve patient questions and concerns related to their treatment journey. • Document clear, detailed, and accurate information while engaging with patients via phone. • Place outbound follow-up and confirmation calls to patients. • Provide empathetic, supportive communication while educating patients during calls. • Interact with referral sources, including healthcare providers, to process new applicants. • Manage patient accounts from initial contact through final approval or denial. • Adhere to company quality standards and attendance policies. • Skills & Qualifications • High School diploma required. • 2–4 years of customer-facing experience (call center, healthcare, or related field preferred). • Knowledge of insurance billing or pharmacy operations a plus. • Ability to type at least 40 WPM and transcribe accurate notes while on calls. • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, empathetic, and patient-centric approach. • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work independently in a production-driven environment. • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. • Must be comfortable working via video conferencing as required by leadership. • Remote Work Requirements • Dedicated, private, distraction-free workspace. • High-speed, hardwired internet connection required (DSL, Cable, or Fiber only): • Download: 15 Mbps minimum • Upload: 5 Mbps minimum • Ping: Maximum 30 ms • Dial-up, satellite, Wi-Fi only, or cellular connections are not acceptable. • Must use a surge protector with network line protection for company-issued equipment. • Employer provides computer, technology, and equipment; candidate must provide internet service.
