Employee Relations Call Center Representative – Remote Pay: $21.13/hour Contract: 3-month contract only Schedule Options: • Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST • Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM EST Job Description: As an Analyst I supporting Colleague Relations, you will be the primary point of contact for colleagues seeking guidance on a wide range of workplace concerns, including reasonable accommodations, workforce reduction, performance, attendance, and policy interpretation. You will handle a high volume of inbound calls, provide timely and accurate support, and resolve issues at first contact whenever possible. You will also partner cross-functionally with other departments as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the first point of contact for leaders and colleagues via a centralized phone system, performing real-time issue-spotting to resolve concerns effectively. • Document all pertinent call details and consultation provided, assigning cases to the appropriate team when additional research or investigation is required. • Leverage available resources to achieve first-contact resolution whenever possible. • Assist with policy interpretation and application of CVS Health policies and the Code of Conduct. • Consult with leaders regarding colleague performance and disciplinary matters. • Respond to colleague inquiries and escalate to appropriate teams when needed. • Address general workforce-reduction inquiries and elevate concerns appropriately. • Provide cross-functional support to various business units as required. • Demonstrate empathy, build trust, and maintain a colleague-first approach. • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization. • Make sound, risk-mitigating decisions aligned with business needs and colleague wellbeing. • Collaborate across teams to drive positive outcomes. • Maintain working knowledge of current state and federal employment and labor laws. Required Qualifications: • Leadership experience may substitute for 2+ years of practical experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or HR Generalist work. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior mentoring, leadership, mediation, or consulting experience. • Working knowledge of current state and federal employment/labor laws. • Strong real-time problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Certifications such as PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP. Education: • High school diploma or GED required. • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent related work experience).
