We are seeking HEDIS Quality Improvement Specialists to support HEDIS operations during the end-of-year push. In this role, you’ll provide clinical support for medical record review, over-read, and audit processes while collaborating closely with providers, health plans, and internal teams to close gaps in care. This is a remote position (Arkansas-based candidates only) with standard hours of 8 AM – 5 PM CST. Key Responsibilities • Arkansas Quality Team needs staff to assist with End of Year Push projects to increase gap closure rates. This will include medical record retrieval and abstraction among other quality interventions. • Provide clinical support for medical record review, over-read, and audit activities • Monitor contractual quality indicators and analyze performance results • Perform medical record research, review, and abstraction projects Qualifications Required: • 1+ year or season of previous HEDIS experience required • Knowledge of NCQA technical specifications and ability to navigate/utilize them • Strong skills in medical terminology • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Preferred: • Experience in HEDIS, NCQA, quality improvement, medical coding, data analytics, or compliance What We’re Looking For Must Haves: • NCQA experience with HEDIS gap closure • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medical record review • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Nice to Haves: • Experience with quality improvement, compliance, or data analytics • Prior background in medical coding Why This Role? • Gain valuable HEDIS and NCQA experience—highly sought after in healthcare quality, coding, compliance, and data analytics • Work remotely with a supportive, collaborative team culture • Build a foundation for career growth into leadership or specialized quality improvement roles • Location: Remote (Arkansas) • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM CST Apply today to join our team and help close care gaps through innovative quality improvement strategies!
