Role Overview: As a Healthcare Call Center Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, delivering exceptional customer service and support. Your role is vital in ensuring smooth communication and efficient handling of healthcare inquiries. What You'll Do: - You will answer inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers with professionalism and empathy. - You will provide accurate information regarding healthcare services, appointments, and billing inquiries. - You will document and update patient information in the system accurately and timely. - You will resolve patient concerns and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments. - You will maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations and policies. - You will participate in training sessions and continuously improve your knowledge of healthcare processes. - You will collaborate with team members to meet performance goals and enhance customer satisfaction. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in healthcare. - Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally. - Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry with high accuracy. - Ability to work Monday through Friday, with training from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM local time. - Must reside in Tennessee to qualify for this remote position. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with healthcare software or electronic health records (EHR). - Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience working remotely. - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance.
