Role Overview: As a Healthcare Call Center Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, delivering exceptional customer service and support. Your role is vital in managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing accurate information to ensure a smooth healthcare experience. What You'll Do: - You will answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient and provider inquiries. - You will schedule and confirm appointments accurately using healthcare management systems. - You will provide clear and compassionate communication to patients regarding healthcare services. - You will document all interactions and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve issues and improve patient satisfaction. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with healthcare protocols and call center best practices. - You will manage call volume efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards. What You Bring: - You bring at least 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in healthcare. - You bring strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a patient-focused approach. - You bring proficiency in using computer systems and healthcare software. - You bring the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. - You bring excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience working in a healthcare call center.
