What You'll Do: - You will answer inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers promptly and professionally. - You will provide accurate information regarding appointments, billing, and healthcare services. - You will document all interactions thoroughly in the call center database. - You will assist in scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments. - You will escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary. - You will maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay updated on healthcare policies and procedures. What You Bring: - You bring at least 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in healthcare. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - You are proficient with computer systems and data entry. - You have the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. - You are detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience working in a healthcare environment.
