Your role is vital in ensuring smooth communication and efficient handling of healthcare inquiries. What You'll Do: - You will answer inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers with professionalism and empathy. - You will provide accurate information regarding healthcare services, appointments, and billing inquiries. - You will document and update patient information in the system accurately and timely. - You will resolve patient concerns and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments. - You will maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with healthcare protocols and software. - You will collaborate with team members to improve call center processes and patient satisfaction. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in healthcare. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. - Proficiency with computer systems and data entry. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with healthcare software such as Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
