Role Overview: As a Healthcare Call Center Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and efficient handling of inquiries. Your role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting healthcare operations. What You'll Do: - You will answer inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers with professionalism and empathy. - You will provide accurate information regarding appointments, billing, and healthcare services. - You will document and update patient records and call logs accurately. - You will resolve patient concerns and escalate issues to appropriate departments when necessary. - You will collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay updated on healthcare policies and procedures. - You will maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in healthcare. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. - Proficiency in using call center software and Microsoft Office. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience working in a healthcare environment.
