A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Customer Service Representative in Wilkes Barre, . The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of company products and services to homecare patients and referral sources. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential for remote work in the future based on performance (not guaranteed). Compensation Pay: 17 per hour Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service on eligibility dates Highlights • Location: On-site, Wilkes Barre, PA • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, [Insert Hours] Responsibilities • Respond to telephone inquiries and orders from homecare patients and referral sources • Provide information on equipment, supplies, and services; determine the best method for providing services • Assist walk-in patients with selection of equipment, supplies, and services • Process telephone orders by preparing patient paperwork • Verify insurance coverage and/or other methods of payment • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately to support data entry, accounts receivable, and order delivery • Perform data entry as needed and distribute copies of paperwork to appropriate personnel • Assist with processing of billing paperwork as required Requirements • Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required • Strong customer service and computer skills required • Experience in healthcare, insurance verification, or patient support preferred • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and 3rd party payors is a plus • Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience verifying insurance coverage or handling patient orders • Understanding of insurance concepts including drug cards, major medical benefits, and per diem coverage • Familiarity with government and patient assistance programs If you think this Customer Service Representative position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!
