This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. A Healthier, Happier Me (AHHM) is a small nonprofit organization with a limited number of transactions and a modest annual budget. We are seeking pro bono assistance from a volunteer with nonprofit accounting or tax experience to help ensure compliance and sound financial practices. Support Needed We are requesting assistance with: IRS Form 990-N (e-Postcard) California Form 199-N California RRF-1 (Attorney General Registry of Charitable Trusts) High-level review of 2025 financial statements to confirm there are no issues or red flags Practical recommendations for our bookkeeper to strengthen accuracy, documentation, and processes (Current State: Small budget ( Assist with maintaining detailed financial statements and tax compliance so that our nonprofit can maintain our tax exempt status and continue serving our community. We have financial documents/ statements ready for review and will make these accessible to our volunteer.
