Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive diagnostics and repair, particularly with GM vehicles. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring high-quality automotive service. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Duties • Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately. • Conduct repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. • Align vehicles as needed to ensure optimal performance and safety. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the dealership environment. Qualifications • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role within a dealership setting. • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components. • Proficiency in automotive diagnostics tools and equipment. • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
