POSITION SUMMARY CVS Health is seeking a ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Product Owner responsible for the vision, roadmap, adoption, and value realization of the ServiceNow SPM Suite. This includes Strategic Planning and Alignment (Strategic Planning Workspace, Goal Alignment), Innovation and Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Enterprise Agile Planning, Resource Management, Financial Planning, and Collaborative Workspace Management. The role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, governance bodies, delivery teams, and ServiceNow development resources, ensuring the platform enables strategic alignment, investment transparency, and effective execution across the enterprise. The Product Owner owns the functional direction of ServiceNow SPM, prioritizes new initiatives and enhancements, and ensures the platform supports strategic decision‑making, funding governance, and delivery outcomes. What we expect of you - Product Ownership & Strategy Own the SPM product vision, roadmap, and backlog aligned to enterprise strategy and investment priorities. Translate strategic objectives into platform capabilities that support portfolio planning, funding decisions, and value realization. Champion adoption of SPM as the enterprise system of record for strategic planning, demand management, portfolio oversight, and execution metrics. Portfolio & Demand Management Enablement Partner with business, IT, and finance teams to define and refine demand intake, prioritization, and approval workflows. Ensure portfolio, program, and project data supports executive planning, scenario modeling, and enterprise reporting. Provide transparency into initiative status, capacity, financials, risks, dependencies, and benefits. Backlog & Delivery Management Translate business and regulatory requirements into well‑defined projects, epics, features, and user stories. Prioritize the backlog based on risk reduction, business value, and strategic alignment. Partner with agile delivery teams to ensure timely, high‑quality releases and ongoing platform improvements. Governance, Metrics & Value Realization Define and track KPIs related to strategic priorities, goal alignment, portfolio performance, delivery health, capacity utilization, and financial outcomes. Maintain data quality, consistency, and auditability across all portfolios and reporting structures. Support governance forums with accurate, timely insights into investment performance and delivery outcomes. Platform Optimization & SME Support Monitor product performance, customer feedback, adoption metrics, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Lead platform enhancements, AI model tuning, and configuration optimization aligned with ServiceNow best practices and upcoming releases. Serve as the subject matter expert for SPM capabilities, guiding colleagues and development teams. Continuously evaluate new SPM capabilities and recommend enhancements to improve usability, automation, and insights. Ensure configurations follow ServiceNow best practices and enterprise architecture standards. Support platform upgrades and new feature adoption in collaboration with technical teams. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of experience in portfolio management, product ownership, PMO, or enterprise delivery roles. 7+ years in product ownership experience with demonstrated accountability for roadmap, backlog, and customer outcomes 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow's Strategic Portfolio Management suite of applications. 3+ - Strong understanding of portfolio governance, funding models, and delivery frameworks (Agile or Hybrid). 3+ experience managing product backlogs and working with development teams. 3+ - Strong knowledge of agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and backlog management practices. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to collaborate effectively across cybersecurity, legal, compliance, engineering, and operations teams, including virtual team environments. Exceptional communication, facilitation, influencing, and customer‑facing skills, with the ability to manage executive stakeholders and external partners. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data, Critical Success Factors (CSFs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics to drive prioritization and decision‑making. Proven versatility in managing multiple priorities, projects, and urgent issues in a fast‑paced, complex enterprise environment. Familiarity with ServiceNow Now Assist AI capabilities such as Agent Studio. Excellent problem‑solving and collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly across cross‑functional teams. Certifications in one or more of the below - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator ServiceNow Strategic SPM Implementer ServiceNow Agentic AI Micro Certification Certified Scrum Master and/or SAFe Practitioner Project Management Professional (PMP) EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience). Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $130,295.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
