Position Summary This position manages day-to-day operational administration for retirement benefit plans with a primary focus on traditional and multiple-employer defined contribution plans and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). The colleague in this role is, including but not limited to, a subject matter expert for these plans, manages issue resolution, supports plan compliance, plan funding, share purchases, eligibility and payroll related adjustments. This role also serves as the proxy/delegate to the Project Manager and Sr. Manager for Retirement Plans Administration. Core Responsibilities - Manage steady state administrative processes that support plan design and regulatory compliance for ESPP and 401(k) plans (active and former colleague accounts) - Case Management: Examine the facts while applying use of federal, state, regulatory and plan provisions/Corporate HR policies to provide case resolution for escalated colleague inquiries (via case management tool and other forms of correspondence) - Manage weekly funding of defined contribution trust accounts - Manage end-to end ESPP administration; including enrollments, share purchases and related tax reporting - Serve as proxy/delegate for Project Mgr. and Sr. Mgr, Retirement Plans Administration - Manage colleague account correction processing for all in scope plans/programs including corrections prescribed under the Employee Plans Correction Resolution System (EPCRS), resulting from HR data, payroll and/or administrative events - Support determination of plan participation and company match eligibility in accordance with plan provisions - Manage the fulfillment of plan/participant related legal requests (subpoenas, powers of attorney, etc.) - Support participant claims and appeals administration - via formal written correspondence and case summary presentations to the ERISA Appeals Committee - Support acquisition, divestiture and plan merger projects - Serve as Workbrain Timekeeping Administrator for non-exempt HR Shared Services colleagues Technology and Integration Management: - Support HR/payroll system configuration and integration management as lead by Project Mgr. - Process Mapping & Automation: - Support the documentation and end-to-end workflows for all department related processes as lead by Project Mgr. - Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with Project Manager to implement solutions Vendor Relationship Management: - Maintain collaborative relationship with vendors and ensure vendors perform to their expected service deliverables for related administrative processing Required Qualifications - 5+ years of proven experience in Human Resources or similar work Preferred Qualifications - ERISA plan administration certification preferred - 401k operations management, benefits administration and/or stock plan management - Strong knowledge of HR systems and/or retirement/stock plan platforms Skills - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools - Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills Education - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, or equivalent work experience may be considered Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $60,300.00 - $145,860.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
