Design and produce UI and UX elements including visual design, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes while collaborating with clients and internal teams.
5-7+ years of UI/UX design experience in an agency setting with strong portfolio, proficiency in design tools like Figma and Adobe CC, and familiarity with Agile workflows.
UI Design (approx. 55%) • Create a broad range of visual design elements for a diverse range of experiences and interfaces and meet the quality standards and goals of the Client and Team. • Client meetings: Sometimes presenting our work and walking Clients through our design process. Taking notes relating to functionality, designs, content types, etc; • Brainstorming with the Team on storyboards, style frames, UI look, UX flow and brainstorm solutions for a project; • Light creative direction and art direction responsibilities contributing to the designs of others on our Team. Helping conceptualize a project’s vision; • Understand and Execute within a Client’s Brand Guidelines and Design Language • Producing various creative documentation, style guides and animation references for developers to understand artwork form and function; • Creating design moodboards with research and inspiration in order to help direct the style of a project; • Helping our Accounts Team understand potential budgetary requirements for projects by providing labor estimates and any design expenses (stock assets, tools, etc..); • Ensure Quality Control and Art Reviews leading up to Design Phase milestones to successfully reach project requirements and schedule gates. • Working with developers and animators to export 2D, 2.5D and 3D artwork for software development and/or visual content creation • In collaboration with Team Leads, annual Smart Goals are created to help you grow your skills, learning new techniques, tools, styles and progress in your role; • Quality Assurance Testing: Checking in with devs and designers throughout the project. Also, performed at the end of a project per our Design Phase process. UX Design (approx. 40%) • Uphold the vision of the interactive experience through thoughtful design of key interactions, user flows, and information architecture; • Produce UX flow diagrams, information architecture, content strategy, wireframes, prototypes, and presentations with support and supervision of Team Lead and others; • Support and conduct UX research to better understand a Client’s users. This will include interactive interfaces as well as spaces through journey mapping; • Strong focus and delivery on information architecture and content organization; • Advocate for users and their needs throughout the project lifecycle; • Work closely with developers and designers to ensure that the project’s UX design is understood and upheld; • Participate in Discovery, Plan and other phases of the Creative Process; • Help our Accounts Team understand potential budgetary requirements for projects; • Contribute to creative project solutions and RFP responses in both narrative and spec work and/or concepts; • Keep an iterative approach to design and be open to feedback from Users, Client, and Team; • Balance time and priorities across several different projects/tasks (large and/or small) simultaneously; • Keep a good understanding of the big picture of the project, including how decisions impact financial outcomes; Business & Agency Development (approx. 5%) • Participate, as needed, in new Client business opportunities; • Recommend and participate in associations and event opportunities, where applicable; • Assist the Team’s preparation for various deliverables and milestones for successful Client relationships; • Perform efficient research on Client projects to gain valuable insights informing creative • decisions (done within the budget parameters); • Remain informed of industry tools and trends in tech, software, and innovation, enlighten Teams when necessary (ex: How might AI tools for UX Prototyping or Concept Art speed up your workflow?) • From time to time, contribute to the company’s Marketing needs: i.e. presentations, social media, website, case studies, talks, recruitment, etc; Education • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred Work Experience • 5-7+ years experience in UI / UX design or a related field within agency setting preferred • Strong portfolio that demonstrates aesthetic & strategically creative solutions Key Skills Set • Great design & layout skills, with an eye for composition, color, padding, typography • Can-do attitude, with an eagerness to learn new programs and processes • Familiarity with Agile work cycles, waterfall and/or other methodologies • Extreme attention to detail including presentation prep, double-checking visuals and reviewing other Team Members’ work • Highly efficient time management skills • Ability to prioritize and hold oneself accountable • Capable of multitasking on the production of multiple projects and successful time • Management skills • Open-minded attitude to thrive in our fast paced, innovative ecosystem • Hand drawing/sketching skills (not required, but a bonus) • Passion for emerging interactive Technologies like AR, MR, VR, touch interfaces, immersive tools, etc • Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality Equipment And Applications • High proficiency in Figma, Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, etc • Used to working in collaborative project management tools like Miro, Monday, Click-Up, Trello, Wrike, etc • Working knowledge of all standard office equipment • Nice to have: Familiarity with AI, LLMs, and Generative Art creation tools. • Amazing Team Culture and Collaboration • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental, and Vision) • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary, and AD&D) • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, and Public Holidays) • Family Leave (Maternity / Paternity) • Short Term & Long Term Disability • Remote/Choice Hybrid Culture: Our Team is required to be in-office during Client Meetings, Team Events, Technical Collaboration, R&D, QA, etc. • Wellness Resources • Pet Insurance, LifeLock, Global Travel Assistance
