Our client is a rapidly growing company specializing in solar street lighting solutions for communities. They've installed more than 10,000 streetlights across the US and have their strongest presence in Florida. They're seeking an experienced Account Manager to engage with homebuilders and land developers. The product itself is exceptional: smart, reliable, efficient, and environmentally friendly streetlights that are also cost-effective for builders and communities. These lights are quick to install (15 minutes), carbon-neutral, and storm-resilient. They are looking for a dynamic Account Manager to drive sales efforts and expand our customer base in Orlando. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship-building, and a results-driven mindset. This role offers a competitive compensation package, including uncapped commission, reasonable quotas, and a strong benefits package. This is an an sales role based in Orlando with regular travel to existing and potential client's offices and projects sites as well as trade shows and conferences. Key Responsibilities: • Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential clients to drive sales of solar streetlighting solutions. Regularly travel to both their offices and project sites. • Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. • Identify, qualify, and convert leads into opportunities through proactive outreach and strategic networking. • Prepare and present compelling proposals that address client needs and demonstrate the value of the company's solutions. • Manage and grow assigned accounts by understanding client needs, providing solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. • Provide feedback on market trends, client feedback, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product development. • Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and products to clients. Experience and qualifications: • 3+ years of proven experience running the full sales cycle, selling into homebuilders and land developers. • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead qualification methodologies, and CRM systems. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively. • Creative problem solver with the ability to develop innovative solutions to meet client needs. • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. • A person of high ethics, integrity, honesty with lots of passion, drive, and a sense of humor. • Previous business relationships within Land Development and master planned communities. • Familiar with the top builders in the USA NAHB. • Ability to travel regularly to client offices, project sites, networking events, HOA / CDD meetings, and builders shows. • Accustomed to presenting a presentation deck to executives.
